A Bit About Ally

At Ally’s Heirloom Photography, I strive to capture beautiful memories of your children that will be treasured for a lifetime. As a photographer and mama of 6 children myself, I understand and appreciate the importance of preserving these memories of who they are at this moment in time.  Children change so quickly, and before we know it they are graduating high school!

​

Speaking of high school, I moved to North Carolina at the beginning of my senior year after growing up in the same home in upstate NY for most of my life.  I had missed the high school senior pictures that had occurred in the school gymnasium over the summer, so my senior pictures were glammed up shots at the mall.  While fun, they didn't really capture the essence of what my interests were, nor were the outfits really something that screamed "Ally".  My senior portrait experience is a driving force behind creating personalized Senior Portrait Plans for my clients so they can receive a memorable Senior Experience.  I call it, "Letting the YOU shine through."

I also enjoy capturing athletes of any age and ability.  Dramatic photography ends up being super fun with athletes, too!  I have also started chalk photography images recently, and wowzers, is it FUN!

A Little More About Ally

​

I currently live in Mooresville, North Carolina with my youngest daughter, whose gymnastics and high school activities keep me super busy.  We have a Shih-poo, named Dustin after the character in Stranger Things, who thinks he is a human son.

​

I proudly gained the title of Gigi, and love any time that I get to spend with my grandchildren.  My adventures with them bring a lot of joy!

​

My creative soul thrives on projects; of course the art of photography, but I also like refurbishing furniture, cooking, and home DIY.  If I am actually truly chilling, I enjoy reading or curling up to watch a movie with family.
